‘My butt is not great at the moment’ Gwyneth Paltrow claims her derrière isn’t what it once

She is famously particular about her health and fitness, with experts previously estimating the cost of her beauty regime alone to be around £14,000 a month. 

But, over the weekend, Gwyneth Paltrow, 46, claimed that her derrière isn’t what it once was after ‘pigging out on pasta’ during a recent holiday in Italy.

Speaking at her lifestyle brand Goop’s wellness summit over the weekend, the actress admitted how working out with her personal trainer Tracy Anderson, 44, had given her an unrecognisably pert behind.

According to The Sun, Gwyneth told attendees: ‘After months training with Tracy, I walked past the mirror naked one time and thought: “Damn, whose butt is that?” Then I realised it was mine. 

‘But my butt is not great at the moment. I was just in Italy and I totally pigged out on pasta.’ 

Gwyneth, who is married to Brad Falchuk, previously laid out she has a ‘pretty healthy diet’ but she also admitted she occasionally let’s herself go on a baguettes, cheese and red wine frenzy. 

She told Women’s Health: ‘I have a pretty healthy diet, so when I’m eating processed foods and not watching my alcohol intake, I feel it.

‘But you want it to be a choice you’re awake to: “I know this might not make me feel great, but today I’m choosing it anyway.”‘

Back in December 2014, Daily Mail revealed how Gwyneth keeps her fresh-faced looks with weekly facials, holistic treatments and make-up artist costing an estimated total of £14,000 per month. 

According to the report, the mother of two is said to enjoy reiki stress reduction massage on a monthly basis, which typically costs £185 for 90 minutes resulting in an annual spend of as much as £2,220.

The Oscar-winning actress is also reportedly a fan of the intravenous vitamin therapy at the Be Hive of Healing centre in Los Angeles. Costing up to £289 per session, it is estimated Gwyneth has at least one a month and could easily hand over as much as £3,500 a year. 

The lymphatic massage at Be Hive is also said to be a must-have for the star. Costing around £130, the 90-minute procedure allows toxins to be released and the benefits no doubt outweigh the £1,600 she could spend in a year

The Iron Man star is also believed to indulge twice a year in Thermage laser treatment on her face, brows and neck, thought to cost almost £17,000. 

In between these sessions, Gwyneth is thought to head to Tracie Martyn for facials when she is in New York, paying almost £1,500 a year for microdermabrasion, electronic muscle stimulation and oxygen-mist treatment.

When she’s back in Los Angeles, the Avengers star reportedly visits Sonya Dakar once a week, and is believed to enjoy her apple stem cell facial – at around £300 a session or £12,000 a year.

The actress’ lifestyle brand, Goop, threw a party over the weekend, with intimate workshops, private workouts and a cocktail party for holders of tickets ranging from £1,000 to £4,500 in price.

Gwyneth’s net worth is thought to be around $60m and her Goop brand is incredibly popular with a reported net worth of $250m.
